jelly roll treeBy now you’ve received the second issue of Classic Sewing, which features the Gail Doane jacket and dress from Jelly Roll fabric. To celebrate the issue release, we are offering a chance to win one of six Jelly Rolls! I recently commented in a post that I had several Jelly Rolls in my stash, but let me tell you, sewing friends—I have totally been upstaged. Yes, upstaged by Jane Makuch.

When I saw this photograph, I e-mailed her and asked if I could share it. So here is the Jane Makuch Jelly Roll Tree!

Thank you for the wonderful response to Classic Sewing magazine. Please submit photos of your finished Jelly Roll projects and others from the magazine. We will be adding a gallery to our website so that other sewists can see your beautiful work. How many Jelly Rolls do you have in your stash?

  1. Thank you for the wonderful magazin and all the ideas, tips and ptterns. This magazine is the BEST investment I ever made on a magazine. I have oredered a jellyroll and once I receive it I will make my jacket and dress.

Looking so forward to the next issue
    Zanna van der Merwe

  2. I have not yet received my copy of the second issue of Classic Sewing. Neither have I received the monogram alphabet promised,or any posts of the newsletter or the blog (both of which I requested before the first issue came out. I have inquired about this twice, and once I received an inappropriate response, giving me instructions as to how I could cancel my subscription. I don’t want to cancel my subscription, I just want to know when I will receive my magazine.

  3. The jelly roll jacket and dress is my next project to make to my 4 years old granddaughter.
    Thanks for this wonderful magazine.
