Garment Details: Dress shown is made from an original pattern; suggested commercial pattern is “The Bodice Dress” by Collars, Etc., available in sizes 1–8. The dress is made of handkerchief linen and lined with cotton batiste. Embroidery is worked with DMC six-strand cotton floss.

A two-tone color scheme with a pretty Madeira appliqué band transforms a basic bodice dress into a special occasion garment. Delicate embroidery motifs embellish the bodice and collar for an added touch of sweetness. Additional special details include a back sash and piped cording at the collar, waist, and sleeve bands.
