A Note from the Editor: Here’s What You Need to Know About Our Latest Happenings

Kathy McMakin, Editor of Classic Sewing magazine

Dear Sewing Friends,

Autumn makes its official arrival this week, and we are having lots of fun sewing fall projects! Truckin’ Into Autumn, designed by Peggy David, is the perfect cool-weather romper for your baby boy. Made of comfortable knit, it features a cute truck appliqué that is sure to bring smiles.

Have you checked out our catalog of online sewing classes lately? So far this year, we have released eight new start-anytime classes for you to enjoy. And we’ve been busy taping more new releases that we’re excited to share with you soon!

Connie Palmer’s Tulip Sleeve Dress is one of my favorite designs in the 2021 Doll Club collection. The details are just so cute—from the sweet tulip sleeves to the rickrack trim and contrasting hem bands.

Have a good week and sew, sew, sew!
