A Visit with Children’s Corner in Nashville, TNOne of these influential pattern designers, Elizabeth Travis Johnson, taught classes and inspired many women in Nashville as she taught at the Watkins College of Art, Design & Film. With the support and knowledge of Ms. Johnson, the founders of Children’s Corner set out to translate her incredible classic styles and techniques for home sewers. Children’s Corner Patterns soon became the gold standard of children’s heirloom sewing patterns. Having been involved since the beginning, Lezette Thomason and Ginger Caldwell faithfully poured tireless energy, passion and commitment into producing more than 250 patterns over a period of 40 years.

When Emily and Karen took ownership, they soon realized that the incredible staff at the store gave each customer a memorable experience, even those who live out of town and communicate primarily by email, text and telephone.

Emily shares, “It can’t be understated that our success is due to our incredible staff. We strive to give every customer a memorable experience with each visit. We know you are planning projects that one day will become family heirlooms.”
