Cargo Pants

Every outdoor adventurer needs a pair of pants with cargo pockets. Where else can one hide all their little treasures? Here, Alicia Welcher will show you how to add a cargo pocket to any pants pattern. This is great to make for a boy who’s outgrowing the “cutesy” stuff. Just remember to check the pockets before you do laundry!

Note: The pattern and instructions for the pants and shirt (size 2-6) along with the alligator machine embroidery design shown here can all be downloaded from classicsewingmagazine.com. It is listed as “Creating Cargo Pants” on the Autumn 2017 downloads webpage.
